Aktivator odin versii 137. Hello psychomania. Thanks for the reply.

I've tried the firmware reinstall. Thought that might work but didn't. The settings are retained. Yes.feel damn disappointed to know that I can't hard reset the phone myself.

May 12, 2011  Hard reset Nokia 6300? Any way I can do a hard reset on my Nokia 6300 myself? I was told I have to send my phone back to the service centre to be done. Was playing around with the settings and somehow managed to screw it up. Reset settings from the menu didn't work well.

It's in the shop now. I'm one who likes to play around with the settings with my gadgets and find myself always doing something I shouldn't be doing.;-) A hard reset always saved the day. Coming from a Sony Ericsson mobile.I always thought the software on it was lacking.

UNTIL I started using this 6300. Sigh Will stick back with SE in future.
